On Thursday, September 23, 2021, the Hendersonville Area (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated will virtually host Fall Fundraiser!, an evening of entertainment and fundraising.  Proceeds from this event will provide funding for scholarships for students at local historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and support the Chapter’s educational programs.

 

This event will benefit two of our signature initiatives – the health program “Chew and Move”, offered in the spring of each year and the Learning and Enhanced Academics Program (LEAP) which provides tutoring during the summer and enhanced academic programs and opportunities for LEAP participants throughout the year.  LEAP exposes students to educational and cultural activities that build knowledge, self-confidence and communication skills including technology and STEAM programming. This includes free tutoring with certified instructors and functional, advanced and artistic learning opportunities offered through the LEAP website.

 

With your generous support, we can strengthen our ongoing chapter programming and provide greater opportunities to educate our inner-city youth as they prepare to make their contributions to our community. Proceeds from this event benefit The Links Foundation, Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) organization, and will be utilized to support the educational and charitable activities of the Hendersonville Area (TN) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated.
